Common questions
- In most cases, yes. A broken handle, stiff hinge, or faulty lock are all repair jobs — no need to replace the frame. Even misted glass only requires the glass unit replacing, not the whole window. We'll always tell you honestly which option makes sense.
- A single window usually takes about half a day, 3–4 hours including setting up and clearing away. On bigger jobs we fit around 3–4 windows a day, so a whole house takes a few days. From deposit to fitting day is usually 3–6 weeks.
- We measure and order the glass unit first. It usually arrives around 5 working days from your deposit — allow up to 10 in busy periods. Fitting takes 30–60 minutes.
- New windows and doors come with a 10-year manufacturer warranty on the glass and frame, sorted through us. Moving parts (locks, hinges and handles) have a 1-year warranty. You also get an Assure certificate for every install.
- Our preferred payment method is bank transfer, and we can also take card. Your written quote sets out the payment terms before you agree to anything.

Photo quotes are free, and so are visits to quote bigger jobs or measure up. The only visit we charge for is coming out to find what's wrong with a repair: £95 + VAT (£114 inc VAT), taken off the job if you go ahead with the work within 30 days.
