These are the figures we actually charge, all plus VAT, and we confirm the final price before any work starts. No call-out charge in normal hours, no hidden extras. Outside our opening hours (Monday to Friday 7:30am–6pm, Saturday 8–10am): the same fixed prices plus £45 + VAT (£54 inc VAT).

Door glass is quoted as toughened safety glass as standard for door panels. Adding lead or Georgian bars can add about £15–£50 + VAT (£18–£60 inc) to a unit, depending on its size.

What can affect the price
Our door repair prices are fixed. Glass prices are "from" prices, and a few things can change the final figure:
- Size and specification — larger glass units, or specialist glass like toughened, obscure or acoustic, cost more than a standard pane.
- Parts — on windows, some locks, hinges and handles are non-standard and have to be matched to the exact part.
- Access — upper floors or awkward access can affect the time a job takes.
- How many in one visit — doing several windows or doors together is cheaper per item, which is why "additional same visit" prices are lower.
Whatever the job, the price is agreed before we order anything or start any work.

Yes. If it can't be priced from photos, an inspection visit is £95 + VAT (£114 inc VAT), paid on the day — and if you go ahead with the work within 30 days, we take it off your bill.
