Areas We Cover
We're based in Bristol and work across the city and the surrounding towns. Same prices everywhere — nothing is loaded because of your postcode.
Areas with their own page
These are the parts of Bristol we work in most often, each with a page of its own and photographs of jobs we've actually done there.
Georgian terraces and Victorian bay fronts, much of it fitted with uPVC twenty or thirty years ago and now due repair. BS8.
Bishopston & HorfieldEdwardian and inter-war housing off the Gloucester Road, plus the streets around St Andrews. BS7.
Bedminster & SouthvilleTerraces south of the river, from Ashton Gate across to Windmill Hill. BS3.
Stoke Bishop & Westbury-on-TrymLarger detached and semi-detached homes to the north-west, often with bigger openings and more glass. BS9.
Bradley Stoke & FiltonNewer estates to the north, where composite front doors and modern sealed units are the usual jobs. BS32 and BS34.
PortisheadCoastal, and it shows — salt air is hard on hinges, handles and lock mechanisms. BS20.
Brislington & St Anne'sInter-war and post-war housing either side of the Bath Road, where the uPVC fitted twenty years ago is now wearing out. BS4.
Long AshtonJust over the boundary past Ashton Court. Mixed housing, and the individual builds throw up shaped and apex glazing. BS41.
Bishopsworth & DundryThe south-west edge of the city and the hill above it, where the slope means big panes and patio doors facing the view. BS13.
AvonmouthDock-era terraces on the Severn. Salt air goes for the hinges, handles and locks long before the door itself. BS11.
Everywhere else we cover
We work in plenty of places that don't have a page here yet — a page only gets written when we've done a job locally worth showing. That list currently includes:
Kingswood · Hanham · Nailsea · Yatton · Yate · Shirehampton · Fishponds · Henleaze · Stoke Gifford
We also cover the wider Bristol postcodes as standard. If you're not on this list, it's worth asking anyway — send us your postcode and we'll tell you straight away whether we reach you.
What does it cost?
The same wherever you are. Window hinges from £145 + VAT, handles from £120, window locking mechanisms from £165, misted glass from £165, door realignment £145. There's no call-out charge that varies by area and no travel surcharge.
The full list is on our window and door repair prices page, and we confirm the price before any work starts.
