The short answer
For a new uPVC window in Bristol, you should expect to pay:

What affects the cost?
Size is the most obvious factor — a large picture window costs more than a small bedroom window. But there are a few other things that affect the price:
- Glazing specification — our new windows are A-rated as standard; triple glazing costs more.
- Style — casement, sash, and bay windows all have different price points.
- Access — a window on the first floor that needs a ladder is the same price; a window that needs scaffolding is not (rare for residential work).
- Number of windows — multiple windows in one visit reduces cost per window.
Do I actually need a full replacement?
Not always. If your window is draughty, stiff, or the glass has gone misty, you may not need to replace the whole window. In many cases:
- Misted glass — replace just the sealed glass unit, not the frame. From £180 + VAT (£216 inc VAT).
- Stiff or broken hinge — hinge replacement, from £145 + VAT.
- Faulty lock — lock replacement, from £165 + VAT.
